Julia’s Cruise Corner: My Take on Princess Cruises
Princess is one of those cruise lines I always go back to — especially when I want something that feels like a proper holiday without the chaos. It’s elegant without being pretentious, calm without being boring, and consistent in a way that makes you feel instantly at home onboard.
I love the MedallionClass® tech — it takes so much hassle out of cruising. Drinks arrive like magic, you never lose your key, and finding your travel companion (or favourite cocktail bar) is a breeze.
I wouldn’t necessarily recommend Princess for wild families or adrenaline junkies, but if you’re looking for peace, decent entertainment, great service, and beautifully crafted itineraries, then it’s a solid winner.
The Sanctuary is a favourite spot of mine — especially on sea days — and I’ve always been impressed by the friendliness of the crew.
