đĽ Juliaâs Cruise Corner: My View from the Sunlounger
I have to say, NCL surprised me â in a good way. I wasnât sure if the âfreestyleâ thing would feel chaotic or just gimmicky, but actually? It was so refreshing.
I love dressing up when I want to, and NCL gives you the freedom to do just that â or not at all. The food was great, the entertainment was top-tier (honestly, Six was better than when I saw it in London), and the vibe was modern without being over-the-top.
The solo cabins are a brilliant idea â no more paying double if you’re cruising alone. And The Haven? If you can stretch the budget, itâs a proper sanctuary with stunning extras.
Itâs not the most luxurious line, but it doesnât pretend to be. Itâs fun, relaxed, and perfect for independent-minded travellers, groups who want space to do their own thing, and people who like a little bit of everything without the rules.

All opinions in Juliaâs Corner are based on my own experience â from the sunlounger to the shipâs theatre. I might not always be right, but I am almost always honest. đ
